Do you accept new veterinary patients?

Yes. Veterinary Medical Centers welcome new dogs and cats at both the Fort Thomas and Independence locations. You can request an appointment online, call your local vet team, or start with the new patient information page before your first visit.

How often should my dog or cat have a wellness exam?

Most adult dogs and cats benefit from a wellness exam once a year. Senior pets, puppies, kittens, and pets with ongoing health conditions may need more frequent visits. Your veterinarian will recommend a schedule based on your pet's age, lifestyle, and health history.

What should I bring to my pet's first visit?

Bring vaccine records, previous medical records if available, medication information, adoption paperwork, and a list of questions or concerns. Completing new client forms before your visit can also make check-in easier.
